Our Life In The Rearview is our travel blog dedicated to exploring the beauty of the open road. We share stories from our adventures, tips for RV life, national park highlights, mindful living reflections, and lessons from traveling as a couple. Our goal is to inspire others to explore now—not “someday.”

2. Who are Karie and Kurtis?

We’re a husband-and-wife team from Pennsylvania who decided to turn our love for road trips and scenic travel into a lifestyle. Along with our rescue pup, we’re documenting our journey across the country to show that you don’t need to wait until retirement to live intentionally and explore freely.

3. Why did you name your blog Our Life In The Rearview?

The name represents reflection—looking back on where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and the memories we’ve made along the way. It’s about embracing the journey, not just the destination.

4. Do you live in your RV full-time?

Not yet! We currently balance travel with work and home life, but our long-term dream is to take our adventures full-time on the road. We share both short trips and extended journeys, including practical tips for anyone curious about RV travel.

5. What kind of RV do you travel with?

We travel with a 2022 Keystone Passport 252RD that we’ve customized to fit our travel style and comfort needs. We’ll be sharing setup guides, gear recommendations, and lessons learned along the way on our this site.

6. How do you choose where to go next?

We love national parks, scenic drives, and off-the-beaten-path spots. Our itineraries are often inspired by recommendations from fellow travelers, park lists, and our ongoing goal of collecting National Park Passport stamps!We often use our travels to visit clients, trade shows, and manufacturing partners for Kurtis’ work.

7. What are your must-have travel essentials?

We keep it simple—our camera, journals, national park maps, and a good playlist. For practical gear, we’ll post detailed product reviews and packing lists on our social media pages.
